referees
The club is always looking for new recruits for referees. If you are interested in becoming involved with the club and have a keen interest in officiating, please e-mail the club administrator at admin@opeongominorsoccer.net. Referee clinics are being offered this spring for all those interested. The club pays for the clinic fees for you to become certified as an OSA referee.

Mini referee clinics
Opeongo Minor Soccer Club Inc. will be hosting a clinic for all of the referees who need to take the mini referee clinic this year. The date is Saturday April 10th, 2010 and it will be held at Opeongo High School. The day starts at 8:00 am and runs until 6:00 pm. All mini referees who took the course for the first time last year and who are now 13 years of age, must take the course again. If you are going to be 12 or 13 years of age on or before March 31 of this year, you must take this course in order to be able to officiate this coming summer.

If you are 14 years of age or older on March 31, 2010 then you would need to take the Entry Level Referee Course offered by the OSA. These clinics are being offered in Ottawa this year so if you are interested in officiating please contact admin@opeongominorsoccer.net.

A club representative will be in touch with everyone who officiated last year to determine whether or not you will be officiating again this year. The club hopes you enjoyed the experience well enough to want to continue to develop your officiating skills again this summer!
